How to join

If your site meets the criteria and you agree to the rules, you may submit your site for acceptance. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions listed below and you will be placed in the webring queue. Once you have followed all the steps, your site will be reviewed and you will be notified via e-mail of your acceptance.

STEP-BY-STEP ACCEPTANCE 

1. Fill out the following form with your site information. This will place your site in the queue. It will also assign your site an ID number. You will receive a customized HTML fragment which you should copy and insert into your page. Once that is done, return to this page.

Password:		 Please choose a password. (Don't forget it!!)
Keywords: Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site.
Description: Enter a short description of your site.

  2. Save the graphic offered immediately below by placing your cursor over the graphic and right-clicking on it. Choose "Save As" from the mini-menu that appears and save the graphic as "webrlogo.gif" in the same folder where you saved the HTML fragment.

3. If you have not already do so, paste the HTML fragment you received into your web page.

4. E-mail me at dc@sourcemaine.com with your request for addition to the ring. In your e-mail message, please include:

  • your site's ID number
  • your site's URL
  • your site"s Title
  • your site's e-mail address
  • name of contact person

  5. I will check out your site and add it to the ring, if it comports with our rules. As soon as your site is added, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of that fact.
