HEALING AND RECOVERY

This section of our website offers transcendent words and images that can help relieve stress and promote healing. We often speak about crime in terms of dollars - medical treatment for physical injuries, unrecovered property, lost wages, the costs of prosecution and incarceration. Yet for victims, it is the human toll that is the most difficult and enduring - the loss or injury of a loved one, the stress of physical pain, the searing wound of ruptured trust, and fear that takes your breath away.
